Maestro
Cannot Find Albums Previously EnteredWhy?
Where's The Album? If a question that Maestro responds to should include an album, for instance London CS 6419, but does not, there are three likely reasons as described below. 1.
The expected album is on your Wish List.
In other words, you have not entered anything in the Physical
Attributes window that indicates you own a copy of this album. Unless
you select otherwise, Maestro's responses to your questions pertain
solely to albums that you ownignoring the albums on your Wish List.
If you own the album in question, but it is currently on your Wish List,
enter the physical attribute details
that describe your copy(s) of this album. 2. A Storage Location is part of every question's criteria. When creating a question, Maestro users do not have to select a Storage Location as Maestro assumes the location to include in your question is your preferred Where Stored filing location. If the expected album is in a location other than the preferred Where Stored location, you need to select that location when creating your question's criteria. NOTE: If you use several Storage Locations, you can select “All Locations” from the STORAGE OR WISH scroll list. Doing so enables Maestro's responses to include any album that you own, regardless of Storage Location. (Keep in mind that the use of “All Locations” ignores albums that you don't own, i.e., those on your Wish List). 3. A Media Format (LP, CD, Tape, etc.) is part of every question's criteria. When creating a question, Maestro users do not have to select a Media Format as Maestro assumes that the format to include in your criteria is your preferred Media Format. If the expected album is on a format other than the preferred Media Format, you need to select that format when creating your question's criteria. TIP: Any album previously entered into your database can be accessed from the Album Cover View window (enter/edit mode) regardless of media format, storage location, or Wish List status. To recall an album from this window, enter the album's catalog number in the form's upper right corner, and then click on the BINOCULARS button.
